Arena Events

We’re hoping to shoot more of these shows. It’s super fun high energy! Meeting the artists in their own environment is really cool.

ARCHIVE

This archive is created from photographs taken during our years in Dallas working under the name “LightsOn! Interactive” Circa 2002-2003

These images are 22 years old and were optimized for “dial-up” connections (If you can imagine that LOL) so they are small and grainy compared to modern digital photos…But they are super cool, so I’m including them here in the archive.

FOO FIGHTERS BACKSTAGE
A Personal Note from Amanda to our Live Rock Gallery fans
April 23, 2003

Hey Guys! We really enjoyed the show. We knew the night was going to be interesting when we saw Shamu headed south on 75.We got to the park early (about 6:00) and went to get our tickets from the will call window. Thanks to the Branditos (Foo Fighters Digital Street Team) we had won free tickets to the show. The promotional tickets hadn’t arrived yet…so we wandered around a bit.

We headed back to the window a couple of times….finally at 7:30 we got our envelope…..low and behold it contained floor tickets and backstage passes!!! Needless to say we got some great pics! I wanted to add my favorite band to our gallery : )

We met some great people at the show! Especially our good friend Patty Wak!!! Love ya girl! Foo Fans are the best! Anybody that knows me, knows that the Foo Fighters are one of my favorite bands. I had just wanted a chance to shoot them on stage. But we were given backstage passes as well. So after the show (which was AWESOME!!!) was over..we went with about 20 other people backstage.

Dave, the gracious host, opened a bottle of champaign and told me to grab some cups. He poured Jon and I a glass…Justa Splash : )

I vaguely remember toasting the success of the show…but it just seems like a dream…i’m not sure what all happened or if its even real. Then he let everyone take everybody pics, shake hands, share the table, the drinks and the friends. It was great.

The band is really as warm as all the other musicians we work with here in Dallas….all the sweetest soul brothers and sisters you’ll ever meet : )

Take a look at the last pic in the gallery….it’s their spread…note the champaign bottle on the table (that’s the one we shared : ) note the crown bottle…..see the little bit in the bottom…..i took that last swig : ) along with a few gummie bears.

See the last pic on this page below? …of Jon and Dave? Jon’s telling Dave one of his jokes. I’m sure anyone who knows Jon has heard the knock, knock joke….Candice Who?…well if you haven’t heard it…go see Papa Jon at Guitar Center.

Needless to say….we left on cloud nine…tired and happy.

If Dave ever reads this…..
Thanks for everything Dude!!! Your sounds have helped me through a lot of those pesky life lessons over the years. Thanks for the excellent show and your hospitality.
i hope these pics send some love back to you : )

Again, many thanks to the Branditos!!! You made a dream come true!!!

Peace Out!!!!!
