Review: Payhip

Payhip is an e-commerce platform that enables anyone to sell digital products or memberships directly to their fans and followers. Payhip takes care of everything. They’re an all-in-one ecommerce solution for creators.

We’ve had a great experience so far with Payhip. We’re selling our ebook and audio books through this store as it links directly to BookFunnel – our audiobook hosting service. These two platforms work together to automate our sales process – which allows us to self-publish our books and sell them directly to our fans.

Using this Payhip and Book Funnel gives us much more control over our publishing process. We also make a better percentage on each sale in contrast to Amazon where we make very little on each sale. We’re hoping this is a much more sustainable business model for us since we are a small studio.

Payhip is officed in London, and handles all of the VAT compliance for us – which is nice!

Payments are made through Paypal and Stripe which makes checkout super easy for customers.

The store is very easy to set up and maintain. Adding new products is super easy and gives me just the right amount of control to tailor our message.
