I really enjoy using this platform! The results are fantastic and I use it frequently for our stories.
We have the Pro level subscription, which gives us a 500k character limit, equivalent to approximately 10 hours of finished audio each month. At this level, we have access to 160 voice presets. But they also have free, starter and creative levels available at a much lower cost to give you a chance to explore the capabilities of the suite.
The preset voice clones in ElevenLabs sound very natural as many have been generated by professional actors, so the delivery is amazing.
We use these voices in projects that are not too personal. Since Jon and I are older, doing a lot of vocal work is very tiring so we save it for special works like short stories where personal performance matters. Since I’m doing the technical and creative work on my own, using ElevenLabs gives me more time to focus on other aspects of each creative project.
